Description
RECOL®’s ANTICORROSIVE is a product formulated with alkyd resin, mat fillers, organic solvents, pigments and additives. Additionally, RECOL®’s ANTICORROSIVE contains zinc base raw materials that provide a barrier against the moisture, protecting the surface from the corrosion, extending its life time. RECOL®’s ANTICORROSIVE Green has additional corrosion protection due to its special type of pigment.
Uses
RECOL®’s ANTICORROSIVE can be applied as barrier against the corrosion in ferrous metallic surfaces used in the construction: it can be applied on doors, handrails, grilles, windows and metallic objects in general, in interior or exterior ambiances and at warm or cold climates, free of industrial contamination. The product is not recommended for immersion as well as applications of lacquers, chloride rubber and, in general, for products with strong solvents. RECOL®’s ANTICORROSIVE can neither be used on surfaces such as cold galvanized or other not ferrous metals. It is necessary to apply previously a primer type Wash Primer.
Yielding
It depends on the application tool, the color to cover, the porosity of the surface and the final thickness of the film. One gallon at one coat covers between 30-60 m2.
